PURPOSE:To delete easily files which have expired, by acquiring the rise date from a clock of a system and inputting the expiration date of each file from a file management means and deleting files which have expired. CONSTITUTION:File names and expiration dates are inputted from a file information table of the file management means by an information input part 11 of the file management means, and the date which the system has is inputted from the system clock. On a basis of information obtained by the information input part 11 and a system date input part 12, the expiration date of a file obtained by the information input part 11 is compared with the date of the system, which is obtained by the system date input part 12, by a file expiration date checking part 13, and this file is reported as the file, which has expired, to a file deleting part 14 if the system date is later. The file deleting part 14 searches the file information table to delete this file from this table.
