PURPOSE:To increase a bias magnetic margin and to decrease to the intensity of a holding magnetic field by setting the transfer direction of bubbles in a minor loop to a (110)-axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Respective function patterns such as a minor loop 1, a magnetic bubble detector 6a, magnetic bubble generator 6b, a major line 6c for reading, a major line 6d for writing, a magnetic bubble divider 6e, etc., are formed on the magnetic bubble magnetic film 5 of a crystal surface (111) to constitute a magnetic bubble memory element 6. The minor loop is formed by patterning so that the center axis 2 in its longitudinal direction L is set within the range of the crystal direction (110)+ or -5 deg. of the magnetic bubble magnetic film 5. Then a magnetic field HB which holds a magnetic bubble is applied from below to above in a figure, i.e. in a (111) direction and a revolving magnetic field HR is applied counterclockwise.
