PURPOSE:To save power consumption by operating a control circuit when a supervisory input signal is incoming or the call is finished and bringing the circuit in the standby state at a time of busy state supervision. CONSTITUTION:An operation input terminal INT is provided and when an input signal is fed to the INT, the control circuit 18 goes to the normal operation state (leading) and goes to the standby state (energizing current is decreased) when a prescribed operation is finished. Then a standby output terminal PB is provided, which gives a signal when the control circuit 18 is in the standby state. When the state change in the supervisory input signal exists when the telephone circuit is busy, a signal is given to the INT to bring the control circuit into the operating state, the storage means stores the incoming of a supervisory input signal and then the control circuit is brought into the standby state, a signal is given to the INT by the AND between the output of storage means storing the standby signal and the information of busy state release when the busy state is released thereby operating the control circuit.
