PURPOSE:To obtain a prepreg sheet having a curved orientation of a reinforcing fiber covering a wide area, by selecting appropriately a laminating method and slice line. CONSTITUTION:A unidirectional prepreg sheet composed of a reinforcing fiber 1 which is oriented unidirectionally on a plane and impregnated with resin is laminated on a preset undulate bedplate until it comes to a fixed thickness. When the three-dimensional prepreg laminated in this manner is sliced along the plane including its laminating direction, the title prepreg having undulate orientation can be obtained. The prepreg sheets which has been impregnated with matrix resin beforehand are laminated to obtain the laminated three- dimensional prepreg in a manufacture of an undulate prepreg sheet. In other words, the three-dimensional prepreg can be obtained also by impregnating a reinforcing fiber line and the sheet with the resin after lamination of them. Cloth can be used as substitution for the unidirectional prepreg. |
