The electronic device for control through variation of capacitance comprises a generator 1 of periodic pulses, a low-pass filter comprising a resistor 3 and a capacitor containing the variable control capacitor 2, and a demodulator comprising a resistor 5, a diode 4 and a capacitor 6 acting in opposition with the previous filter. The generator 1 is adapted to deliver periodic pulses of width I less than half the period L of these pulses. Use in particular in electronic appliances controlled by keyboards. <IMAGE>
