The floor-sweeping machine is fitted with a brush cylinder, the lateral cylinder fastenings of the floor-sweeping machine covering the cylinder body with its holding profiles for the brush fitting pieces extending in the axial direction. In order to be able to complete and thus simplify the exchange of the brush fitting pieces without dismantling the entire brush cylinder, the floor-sweeping machine is constructed in such a way that the holding profiles (1) are constructed on at least one lateral region of the cylinder body (2) to be open radially outwards corresponding at most to the length of one brush fitting piece (3).
