PURPOSE:To facilitate the easy extracting/storing actions of a recording medium and also to avoid the discrepancy between two cylindrical containers put on each other, by forming an opening part on the circumferential wall of each container together with a groove formed at the bottom part respectively. CONSTITUTION:A floppy recording medium container (pallet) consists of an approximately square bottom part 190 and a cylindrical wall part 192 having an inner diameter almost equal to the external form of a floppy medium. The part 192 includes a cut (opening) 194 reaching the part 190 from the upper end. While the part 190 includes a round hole 130 which function to clamp a pallet at its fed position and a small round hole 196. Furthermore the part 190 has a groove 198 has a groove 198 having its section of almost same form at the position opposite to a non-cut part of the part 192. The floppy medium is extracted and stored by a sucking head, etc. In this case, the air passes through the opening 194 of the part 192. This facilitates the easy extracting/ storing actions of the floppy medium.
