PURPOSE:To reinforce a fitting part sufficiently by forming an extremely finely uneven part on contact surfaces of a male and a female engaging body. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces 21 and 22 of the engaging parts of the male and female sleeves are brought into contact with each other and the sliding surface, i.e. contacting surfaces are made into extremely finely uneven surfaces. Namely, those finely uneven surfaces are of about 5-0.1mum, and consequently, the sleeves are engaged smoothly even in an atmosphere of extremely fine dust. The dust adapts itself to the finely uneven part, so the sliding surfaces of the fitting bodies are less damaged. Those finely uneven surfaces are manufactured by ion implantation, ion plating, etc., and a hard material such as ceramic is employed for the finely uneven surfaces to improve the hardness and precision. Further, the contact surface parts can be coated with ceramic.
