PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized inspecting device which continuously performs fast inspection processing by interposing a separator between bare floppy recording media and transporting the separator and floppy medium together. CONSTITUTION:Separators 4 and bare floppy media 3 are stacked alternately in a supply pallet 2 or storage pallets 6a-6d. A handling unit 1 picks up floppy media 3 stacked in the supply pallet 2, sheet by sheet, together with separators 4 and transports them to a floppy inspection unit 5, and floppy media which are already inspected and separators 4 are transported to corresponding storage pallets. Thus, the floppy media 3 are inspected continuously in a bare state without being put in jackets, and consequently the inspection processing is speeded up and conforming and noncomforming media are sorted only by changing storage pallets. Therefore, neither of a conveyance path after inspection and its switching mechanism is required and the device is reduced in size. |
