PURPOSE:To improve a reproduced output and sensitivity by making a beam incident on an organic polymer by a specific incident angle and simultaneously making a ferromagnetic material incident at the angle different from said angle so as to form the composite thin film made of the organic polymer and ferromagnetic material on the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The heating and evaporating container 13 which is of a pot resistance heating type and which contains an organic polymer A is disposed obliquely downward at one end of the substrate 1 by tilting its central axis so that the incident beam (a) can make an incident angle phi1 of 80 deg., for instance, with respect to the normal of the surface of the substrate 1. Moreover the heating and evaporating container 14 of an electronic gun heating system, which contains a ferromagnetic material B, is obliquely downward at the other end so that the incident angle phi2 of the incident beam (b) can be 30 deg. with respect to the normal of the substrate surface 1. Then both incident beams (a) and (b) are converted at one point of the substrate surface 1 so as to make them incident simultaneously, and the composite thin film having vertical magnetic anisotropy can be obtained.
