PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of checking of the lighting of a lamp, by providing a light shield member for shielding light irradiated to the input section of a light sensor from the outside of the lamp so that it is possible to prevent the light sensor from being erroneously operated due to the above-mentioned light from the outside. CONSTITUTION:The input section 24 of an optical fiber 23 is opened toward a filament 19a in a bulb 19 in order to receive light A from the filament 19a. Meanwhile the output section of the optical fiber 23 is coupled to a lighting visual checking means to visually check the lighting of a tail lamp 14. In the above-mentioned arrangement, in order to shield light B irradiated to the input section 24 of the optical fiber 23 from the outside of the tail lamp 14, there is incorporated a light shield member 29. For example, the input section 24 of the optical fiber 23 is inserted in a through-hole 30 formed in a base member 20 for supporting the bulb 19, and a part of the opening edge of the through-hole 30 is extended to form the light shield member 29. With this arrangement it is possible to prevent the optical fiber 23 from being erroneously operated by the light B from the outside.
