PURPOSE:To set a power factor to 1 and to eliminate wasteful time by con necting in anti-parallel or anti-series unit rectifiers in which separately-excited rectifiers and self-excited rectifiers are connected in parallel, and always energiz ing the separately-excited rectifiers or self-excited rectifiers in series or parallel. CONSTITUTION:Controlleable separately-excited rectifiers 11 such as thyristor rectifiers and self-extinguishing self-excited rectifiers 22 are connected in anti- parallel. Further, the anti-parallel circuit of the rectifiers 21 and 12 are connected in anti-series. The rectifiers are rectifies in combinations of the rectifiers 11 and 21 or 12 and 22. At this time, a control angle is regulated to flow a reactive current of the leading phase to a power source to the rectifiers 21, 22. When the energized rectifiers are switched, the phase difference of the control angle of the rectifiers are set to 180 deg.. Thus, the leading current and the delaying current are cancelled to set a power factor to 1, thereby eliminating switching wasteful time. |
