LABEL PRINTING SYSTEM FOR DOCUMENT PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To simplify an input job by performing automatically both the allocation of labels and the distribution of character strings. CONSTITUTION:An editing control part 9 calculates the vertical and horizontal sizes of the form and the label from a control block 1 of an editing memory 7 and sets the information on the number of label sheets to the memory 7. The allocation of labels is decided on the form by the block 1 and the information on the number of label sheets. Then the start position of each line on the label is decided by a control block 2 of the memory 7. Thus all start positions are decided on the form. Then an image where a single record of data is allocated successively to each start position is sent to a printer 6 for print of labels.
