LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a liquid-crystal display element by using a conductive resin as an electrode transfer member and adding separately conductive spacers into the conductive resin. CONSTITUTION:The liquid-crystal display element is constituted by using the conductive resin (Ag paste) as the electrode transfer member and adding sepa rately the conductive spacers 5 into the conductive resin. For example, glass spacers or glass beads which have the same diameter as the diameter of the spacers added into a sealant and are plated with a metal 10 such as Cu, Al or Au around the same are used as the conductive spacers 5 and the added at about 1-10wt% by the weight of the conductive resin. The reliability which obviates the defective conduction even under the test conditions for reliability is thus obtd. by the synergistic effect of the conduction in Ag flakes 9 and the conduction by the spacers 5.
