PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from stepping out by counting a reference clock pulse during rising period, addressing memory means by the counted value, and sequentially reading out frequency dividing set data from the memory means to set the frequency dividing ratio of a programmable frequency divider. CONSTITUTION:Frequency dividing set data corresponding to the rising control characteristic of a pulse motor 24 is stored in a memory circuit 40. A switch 46 is closed when the motor is controlled to rise to clear an address counter 38. The counter 38 counts a clock pulse, the memory circuit 40 is addressed by the value to read out the frequency dividing ratio set data. As a result, the frequency dividing ratio of a programmable frequency divider 34 is switched at every period of the clock pulse, the output pulse of a rotary encoder 14 is divided in frequency by the set frequency dividing ratio, further divided in frequency by a frequency divider 18 to drive a motor 24 through a driver circuit 20. |
