PURPOSE:To obtain a good printing state by obtaining the good contact with a material to be printed and preventing the inclination and deformation of a protruded pattern, by forming a blocking pattern by using flowable ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A coating gun 14 is constituted so as to emit flowable ceramics prepared by kneading powdery ceramics with a one-pack type curable inorg. pressure-sensitive adhesive. The flowable ceramics is applied to the surface of a rubber base plate 1 while the coating gun 14 is canned along a predetermined orbit and cured to form a desired blocking film pattern. Because of the high viscosity of the flowable ceramics, the blocking film pattern 11 is formed so as to be high at the cross-section central part thereof and to show a low mountain shape at the peripheral edge thereof. Subsequently, when engraving is performed by a water jet, the engraved protruded patterns 7 has a inclined side wall 12 having a fanwise cross-section. If the blocking pattern 11 is removed, a desired rubber printing plate is obtained. |
