PURPOSE:To shorten the overall length of a shake member to make a device small-sized by providing a means which is engaged with a cam part of the shake member to hold the shake member in a non-clamp position when a tray is projected out of a housing. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism which clamps a disc 18 carried onto a turntable 54 by a disk carrying mechanism consists of a pressing member 60, which cooperates with the table 54 for the disk clamping action, and a shake member 58 which is extended in the moving direction of a tray 10 in the player housing and is supported freely shakably between the clamp position and the non-clamp position in the end part in the tray storage direction and supports the member 60 in the free end part and has a cam part 58g which is engaged freely slidably with a moving member 23. A roll member 65 is provided which is engaged with the cam part 58g to hold the member 58 in the non-clamp position when the tray 10 is projected out of the housing. Thus, the overall length of the member 58 is shortened to facilitate making the device small-sized.
