PURPOSE:To improve flaw trackability by increasing the servo gain of a rotational frequency range only during the reproduction of a disk by a reduced gain correcting circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the output of a state decision device 7 shows the playback state of the disk, the contact of a switch 10 is placed at a side (b) and when the output of the state decision device 7 shows a state other than the reproducing state of the disk such as access operation, the contact is connected to a side (a). In a transient state, a servo loop is formed without including the reduced gain correcting circuit 9 and no oscillation occurs. The circuit 9 is connected in the reproducing state of the disk and the servo gain in the disk rotational frequency range increases. Consequently, the off-track quantity of a pickup due to disk eccentricity is reduced and deterioration in flaw trackability depending upon the eccentricity is improved.
