TAPE LOADING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic tape from entering the gap between a leading- out member and a guide member by mounting a tape damage preventing member atop of the tape leading-out member and tape guide member. CONSTITUTION:The tape damage preventing member 17 is mounted atop of the tape leading-out member 8 and tape guide member 9. The damage preventing member 17 has a recessed out part 18 covering part of the front end part of the leading-out member 8 and a hole 19 in which the tip part of the guide member 9 is fitted. The mounting position of the damage preventing member 17 is set in such a relation that there is no hindrance to the leading-out operation of the magnetic tape 4. When damage preventing member 17 is mounted, a tape height adjusting screw part arranged at the upper end part of the leading- out member 8 is exposed to make an adjustment of the tape height of the leading-out member 8. Consequently, the tape never enters the gap between the leading-out member 8 and guide member 9 and the tape never damages.
