摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an ion selective electrode which responds to various kinds of ions by using a functional glass film formed by fixing an ion sensitive material by chemical bonding to the surface of porous glass as a sensitive film. CONSTITUTION:Known porous high silicate glass is used as the porous glass. The adequate pore size can be selected according to the size of the ion sensitive group to be fixed. About 10-600Angstrom pore sizes are usually preferable. The various shapes of the porous glass are possible. The ion sensitive material is a material which can be stably fixed to the OH group on the surface of the porous glass by forming the chemical bond and is a material having the ion sensitive group. More specifically, the material has a trimethoxysilyl group, triethoxysilyl group, etc. as the group for forming the stable chemical bond on the glass surface and has chelatability such as quaternary ammonium group and sulfonate group as the ion sensitive group.
