PURPOSE:To simplify constitution, by a method wherein, in a conveying device having a processing part located in the middle thereof, 2 sets of endless belt mechanisms, each beign formed such that a pair of belts are run around vertical shaft pulleys, are located opposite to each other, a nip conveying passage is formed with the two mechanisms and a processing part can be formed in the middle of the conveyance passage. CONSTITUTION:A work 50, fed through an inlet 12, is conveyed torard an outlet 13 in a condition to be held at its both sides between the nip formed by a pair of first belts 22-1, 22-2 and second belts 29-1, 29-2. In the middle of a conveyance passage, the work is fed in a processing part, formed in a manner to separate the belts 22 and 29 from the work 50, by means of auxilary pulleys 31, 32, 37, and 38 and regulatin gpulleys 33 and 39. The work 50 is supported at the front and the rear end thereof by means of the auxiliary pulleys 31, 32, 37, and 38, the middle part is supported by work guides 55, and is progressed as processing is carried out by means of superhigh pressure water injection 58 and the like. This constitution enables formation of the precessing part in the middle of conveyance through simple constitution. |
