摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in cooling efficiency by a method wherein the difference in generated heat caused by the resistance loss when a current is applied is utilized by successively changing the cross-sectional area of a reactor winding, and a cooler is directly exposed to the wind generated by a travelling vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical winding or a disc-shaped winding is used on a reactor main body 41, and the cross-sectional areas of said windings are formed in such a manner that they are made smaller from upside to downside respectively as shown by 41a, 41b and 41c in the diagram. When a current is applied to the reactor 41, heat is generated on the winding by the resistance loss of (current)<2>X(resistance), but as the cross-sectional area of the winding is changed such as 41a>41b>41c, the resistance value is turned to R41a<R41b<R41c, and the heating power at the lower part is made larger than that of the upper part. As a result, the difference in temperature of the refrigerant 45 of the upper part and the lower part of the tank 42 is made larger, and circulating driving force is liable to generate. An evaporation-boiling phenomenon is generated in the refrigerant 45, it is introduced to a cooler 44 and finally radiated into the atmospheric air from a cooling fin 44a. As the cooling fin 44a is directly exposed to the winds 48 and 49 generated by a travelling vehicle, a high degree of cooling efficiency can be obtained.
