发明名称 TEMPERATURE COMPENSATING CIRCUIT FOR STRAIN GAGE
摘要 PURPOSE:To flatten an output voltage characteristic against the temperature changes by applying a composite resistance consisting of more than two kinds of resistor made of a pure and single metal. CONSTITUTION:A compensating resistance is obtained by combining more than two kinds of resistor made of a pure and single metal, instead of single alloy resistance. A high purity single metal is obtainable with certainty and its resistance temperature characteristic is highly precise and give fixed values. Therefore, by designing a resistance temperature characteristic of resistor combining more than two kinds of single metal to be the same as an output voltage characteristic of the bridge circuit which is the object of compensation, a temperature compensating circuit enabling highly precise measurement can be secured and the yield of manufacturing is also improved. An actual bridge circuit 2 has an output voltage temperature characteristic shown as (a) in the drawings. By using a Ni resistor RN and a Cu resistor Rc as temperature compensating registers and inserting these to the voltage feeding side of the bridge resistor 2 separately, the composite resistance temperature characteristic becomes RNC and the output voltage temperature characteristic of the circuit 2 becomes flat after being offset.
