PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of a malodor, in the garbage receiving treatment apparatus of sink, by providing a garbage basket, of which the deodorizing lid and bottom lid inclined to a drain direction are made freely operable and closable while providing a garbage treatment part under said garbage basket. CONSTITUTION:An elbow shaped joint pipe 3 is conneced to the water emitting port 2 of a sink water tank part 1 and a deodorizing lid 4 opened under water pressure is provided to the opening part thereof by a hinge. An inspection port 7a is provided to the upper part of a drain cylinder 7 and the upper edge of a water stopping plate 9 having an area 1/3 that of the opening provided to the diameter enlarged side of the drain cylinder 7 is further suspended from the opening end of the diameter enlarged side so as to be made near to the center thereof. An inspection port 10b is provided to the upper side wall of a garbage container 10 in opposed relation to the opening in the diameter enlarged side of the drain cylinder 7. A bottom lid 14b having water permeability is fixed to the lower opening end of a garbage basket 14 so that the open side thereof is made freely openabe and closable. A funnel shaped water sump part 16 is formed to the lower part of the garbage basket 14, and a drain pipe 17 and a sewage measure 18 are connected to the water emitting port of said water sump part 16.
