PURPOSE:To obtain a shaped article faithful to the master by a method wherein the shaping is performed by employing a molding member consisting in insertedly fitting a laminated former, which is obtained by transferring the master, in the hole of a template. CONSTITUTION:Formed clay, formed and hardened plaster, carved stone, molded form made of concrete and metal or the like is employed as the master of a shaped article. Silicone rubber, soflan, synthetic resin, quicklime or the like is applied onto the top surface of the master as transfer material. Silicone rubber 2 is coated onto the top surface of a water repellent solid matter 1. Next, a frame 3 is provided outside the solid matter 1 so as to cast foam urethane 4 therein. After the hardening of the urethane, the frame 3 is removed and the urethane is separated from the water repellent solid matter 1 in order to obtain a laminated former A. A molding member is obtained by inserting the laminated former A in the hole of a foamed polystyrene template B, onto the surface of which rugged pattern is formed. In addition, the laminated former A and the template B may be bonded together by bonding agent or the like. Reinforced concrete, on the underside of which rugged pattern is formed, can be obtained by removing the molding member and a temporary frame 5 after the hardening of concrete not hardened and used for forming the rugged pattern of ceiling and the like.
