PURPOSE:To enable to easily manufacture trim material having external appearance, touch and hygroscopicity nearly equal to those of natural timber by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin parison is formed while wooden powder is adhered over the outer peripheral surface of the parison and, after that, formed by being inflated in a pair of form molds. CONSTITUTION:Wooden powder B consisting of mixture of powders such as woodflour, wooden fragments, surface abrasive powder for particle board or the like, or wooden powder B consisting of one of or the mixture of the above-mentioned powders impregnated with binder in advance is extruded from a powder extrusion port 2b at the extrusion speed the same as that of thermoplastic resin parison A in order to uniformly adhere the wooden powder B onto the outer peripheral surface of the parison A. The wooden powder B is compressed between the outer peripheral surface of the thermoplastic resin and the inner surfaces of a form mold 3A and of a form mold 3B, resulting in inroading the thermoplastic resin into the gaps of the wooden powder B so as to make the resin and the powder B into a complete one body. Thus, interior material can be obtained in a simple process. At the same time, the external surface of the interior material has hygroscopicity, external appearance and touch nearly equal to those of natural timber and is excellent for forming.
