PURPOSE:To obtain a straightened metallic frame without deforming a frame body fixing with calking from the vertical direction after forming a through hole on one part of a side plate part and forming a projection on other part and forming a frame body with engaging each other. CONSTITUTION:The projection 5 formed on the corner part of the outer side of the side plate part 1b of other part is engaged to the inserting port 4 formed on the outer side corner part of the side plate part 1a of one part. The frame shaped base 7 consisting of the side plate parts 1a-1d is thus obtd. The frame shaped base 7 is placed on the lifting base 11 of a jig 9 and a pressing body 13 is brought into contact with the upper face opening part of the frame shaped base. The projection 5 is deformed by pushing down the frame shaped base 7 with descending further the pressing body 13 and by bringing the corner part of the projecting wall part 14 of the jig 9 into contact with the projection 5 of the side plate parts 1b, 1d. The calking is performed with the projection 5 being locked to the inserting port 4 by the deformation of this projection 5. At the same time the deformation of the camber of the metallic frame, etc. is corrected.
