The invention relates to a device making it possible for a work surface to pass from a vertical position (storage) to a horizontal position (use). Moreover, this horizontal position may easily be adjusted to different heights. The invention consists of two lateral uprights which may or may not be provided with adjustable jaws, in those uprights: slides, holes or ratchet mechanisms allow adjustment of the height. <IMAGE>
