PURPOSE:To obtain a self-hold type solenoid capable of being operated by a normal voltage without the occurrence of magnetic gap by removing a fixed core which has been fixed at the lower inside of a fixed yoke, and making the sticking surface of a movable core directly stick on the sticking surface of the fixed yoke. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 1, a fixed yoke 2 which is installed outside the solenoid 1, a permanent magnet 3, and a movable core 6 which is arranged in the solenoid 1 are provided. And, on the surface of the fixed yoke 2 on which the movable core 6 is sticked, a hole 2a is provided, and a projection 1a is provided on the outer case 10 of the solenoid 1 so as to be inserted and fixed in the hole 2a.
