PURPOSE:To expand the function of a reproducing device by applying a little modification to the device itself by constituting the reproducing device of a main body and an adding circuit substrate, and providing a connector to the main body and a microprocessor and a substrate side connector to the adding circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:An adding circuit substrate 30 is installed on the upper surface of the main body of a reproducing device 100 and the terminal of a connector 25 on the reproducing device is connected with a terminal 37e of the substrate. A digital data DD and a code ACC obtained from the reproducing part 11 of a reproducing device 10 is supplied to decoders 32 and 33 of the adding circuit substrate 30 and is decoded while an error is corrected and is supplied to a microprocessor 31. Simultaneously, a control signal obtained from then outside microprocessor 41 of the reproducing device 10 is supplied to the microprocessor 31 through the serial input/output interface 34 of the adding circuit substrate.
