PURPOSE:To make the good use of a memory, and also to manage the memory easily by designing a processing program so that the data of a prescribed area in the memory can be referred to as a switch data for switching a system, and switching the system by rewriting its switch data. CONSTITUTION:A system switching the branch data D1 is stored in the prescribed address ADi of a programmable ROM11, the data D1 consists of, for instance, 8 bits, and only its lowest bit DL and other bits are set to '1' and '0' in advance. In this state, first of all, the data of the address ADi is read out and the number of '1' of each bit of the data D1 is calculated, and if it is an odd number, a management stamp is affixed, and if it is an even number, the management stamp is not affixed. In this way, in case when a system to which a user affixes no management stamp is desired, the desired system can be obtained by removing the ROM11 and rewriting the bit DL to '0' from '1' by a ROM writer.
