PURPOSE:To prevent gas injected from a gas nozzle from becoming flame and remaining by a method wherein a catalyst is preheated and a pilot burner is put off immediately before the gas is injected from the gas nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When a gas lever 10 is pushed up by an operating switch 7, the pilot burner 5 is ignited by a high voltage generating device 6 to preheat the catalyst 4 and the operating switch 7 is pushed up further into the arrow sign A direction in the diagram, the gas lever 10 is released from the operating switch 7 by a cam 12 and the pilot burner 5 is put off. When the operating switch 7 is pushed up into the direction A, a main switch 8 is pushed up by the engaging piece 7a of the operating switch 7 to release the pushing of the gas lever 9 whereby the gas is injected from the gas nozzle 2. According to this method, the gas, injected from the gas nozzle, will never become flame and remain. |
