The invention relates to a device for pulling skins onto a mandrel, which is used to transfer the gathered-together skin onto the nozzle of a sausage-filling machine. The aim is to increase skin quality and to reduce the amount of time spent. The object of the invention is to handle the skin as gently as possible during the gathering. The object is achieved according to the invention in that there is arranged on a motor a crank mechanism which is composed of a rocker and a connecting rod and has at its end a movable shaped part which executes a certain movement on a mandrel which is used to receive the skin. <IMAGE>
