PURPOSE:To cause buoyance, exerted on a bottom, to run to the outer peripheral part and the outer wall of an underground structure and to eliminate a pull-off pile which resists buoyancy, by a method wherein the bottom of the underground structure of an underground substation and the like is built in shell structure having its lower part formed with a projection curved surface. CONSTITUTION:A deep-seated underground substation 1 is built with an underground outer wall 2, formed in a circle in plan cross section, and a bottom part 6, and the bottom part 6 is formed in a shell structure provided at its lower part with a projection spherical surface. Plural middle columns 4 and floors 5 are formed in a space surrounded with the outer wall 2. This causes buoyance, exerted on the bottom surface, to run to the outer peripheral part of the bottom part 6 and the outer wall 2, and eliminates a pull-off pile serving to resist buoyance exerted on the middle columns 4. |
