PURPOSE:To prevent the injury of a plate steel sheet owing to the earth spot between a material to be plated and an electricity conducting roll arising from the fluttering of said material under plating in a carrousel electrogalvanizing line by bringing the material to be plated as a cathode into contact with the electricity conducting roll in a specific large range. CONSTITUTION:The electricity conducting roll 3 as the cathode is disposed to face a Zn plate 5 which is a soluble anode and the steel sheet 1 is wound around the roll 3 then electricity is conducted to the roll and the steel sheet is plated in the stage of electrogalvanizing the surface of the steel sheet 1 by a carrousel type electrogalvanizing device. The part where the sheet 1 contacts tightly with the roll 3 is wound around the roll 3 at >=180 deg. angle thetaby increasing the diameter of a deflector roll 6 to prevent the flutting between the sheet 1 and the roll 3. The injury of the steel sheet surface by the arc spot generated between the sheet 1 and the roll 3 arising from the fluttering is thus prevented.
