CARTRIDGE FOR VISCOUS MATERIAL USE

PURPOSE:To easily separate a cartridge and an adapter after use for effecting the after-treatment of an aerosol container with ease by attaching the latter to the former detachably while maintaining an airtightness therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The gas filling an aerosol container 12 is expelled by squeezing an adapter 20 at its middle with a pressure relief 25 formed in the adapter 20 closed with the fingers and the resulting gas pressure moves a plunger 11 forward. The adapter 20 is attached to a cartridge 10 detachably with a cap screw 30 and, at the same time, the adapter 20 and the cap screw 30 are put together by placing an axial annular groove 23 formed outside the former and an axial annular rib 33 formed inside the latter into an airtight engagement. This permits an easy separation of the cartridge 10 and the adapter after use for removal of the aerosol container 12 and the after-treatment for discarding thereof prevents the occurrence of an accident.
