: A display device has picture elements arrayed on a transparent insulating substrate. Transistor portions are formed of a semiconductor layer on the substrate. The device is characterized in that interconnection parts of the transistor portions extend on the semiconductor layer. The advantage of the invention is avoidance of potential disconnection of the interconnection parts.
