PURPOSE:To extend the battery change period with reduction in the current consumption in an electronic time piece circuit with a crystal oscillation circuit, a stepping motor and the like, by supplying a driving source power to the stepping motor using a harbor circuit while a constant source voltage is supplied to other circuits. CONSTITUTION:-3V output of a lithium battery 7 is supplid to output a constant voltage of -1V or the like from a constant voltage circuit 5. The circuit 5 serves as power source to supply a source power to a crystal oscillation circuit 1, a frequency division circuit 2 and the like. On the other hand, a harbor circuit 6 driven by a battery 7 generates a voltage of -5V, half the voltage of the battery 7 to supply a source power to a driving circuit 3 and a stepping motor 4. With a drop in the voltage owing to the circuit 6 of this DC-DC converter, the current consumption for driving the stepping motor depending on the source voltage is almost halved thereby extending the battery change period. |
