发明名称 CONTROL MECHANISM OF ALTERNATOR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent a battery from rising at a low speed and an alternator from overrotating at high speed time by providing a speed shifting mechanism in a drive section of the alternator. CONSTITUTION:A drive side pulley 2a of a pulley drive mechanism 2 is mounted on a drive shaft of an engine 1. A driven side pulley 2c (coupled with an alternator 12) for receiving power transmitted trough a belt 2b from a drive side pulley 2a is steplessly shifted at the speed by a pulley ratio by the variation in the position of an idler and a hydraulic control mechanism 2d. An electronic controller 10 closes a solenoid valve 8 to reduce a pulley ratio when the rotating speed of the engine 1 exceeds the prescribed value. Thus, even if the engine is driven at a low speed, a charging can be performed, and the alternator is not overrotated at a high speed.</p>
