PURPOSE:To secure the stability in width direction of a cylindrical body to be formed by bend-forming in forward direction the both end edges of a metal strip and by bend-forming via the process to make the center part in flat shape with bend-forming in reverse direction the inner side thereof. CONSTITUTION:The right and left roll pieces 6, 7 forms with bending in forward direction the edge parts Ab, Ab of the material A to be formed in opposition to the right and left roll pieces 2, 3 of the lower roll 1. The part excluding the center part Ac on the inner side of this edge parts Ab, Ab is formed with bending in the reverse direction. The center roll piece 8 prevents the floating of the center part Ac of the material A to beformed and increases the stability of the material A to be formed by shaping a flat part. The object bend-forming is performed through this stage. The adjustment of the mutual gaps between the right and left rolls 2, 3 and 6, 7 is possible by the exchange of spacers 4, 9 on the upper and lower rolls 1, 5 which can cope with the forming of the cylindrical body of different diameters. |
