<p>PURPOSE:To laminate a polarizing plate precisely without mixing an air bubble by sticking and holding the polarizing plate on the curved surface of a holding member with a separator out and peeling off the separator entirely, and then rolling a roller relatively on the external surface of a liquid crystal display element while the polarizing plate holding part against the external surface of the liquid crystal display element. CONSTITUTION:The polarizing plate 5 supplied onto a guide 22 is held on an upper roller 24 while pressed by an auxiliary roller 23. The upper roller 24 which holds the polarizing plate 5 rotates and stops at a specific position to peel off the separator 18 entirely, exposing an adhesive layer. Then, the upper roller 24 is reversed by a specific extent to position the polarizing plate 5 at a specific position and the upper roller 24 is lowered to its lower position and rotated counterclockwise. When the liquid crystal display element 20 begins to be conveyed to right simultaneously, the polarizing plate 5 whose adhesive layer is exposed is fixed temporarily at a specific position on a substrate within a linearly narrow range and then stuck continuously. In this case, the lower roller 25 clamps the liquid crystal display element 20 against the upper roller 24 to advance its sticking.</p> |
