PURPOSE:To make highly accurate grinding performable in an efficient manner, by letting a tapelike grindstone pass through along the specified route, while applying it to a ball track guide surface, in case of grinding on the ball track guide surface at the outer ring side of a deep groove ball bearing. CONSTITUTION:A tapelike grindstone is continuously fed out of a delivery roller, and passes through a forming part 9b of a tape holder 8. On the other hand, an outer ring 10 is given the specified rotation, and a base 1 moves along a central axial direction of the outer ring 10 whereby the forming part 8b at a tip end of the tape holder 8 goes forward till it1reaches a spot just below a ball trach guide surface 10a.And, afterward when a servomotor 12 is started in motion, a pressing plate 17 advances forward whereby a rocking member 7 is forcibly pressed and rocked so that the forming part 8b is pressed to the ball trach guide surface 10a, thus plunge cut grinding takes place. |
