PURPOSE:To operate normally a voice recognizing circuit even in case when a peripheral noise is large, by providing a microphone for collecting the peripheral noise, on a handset, and correcting a peripheral noise component coming into a main microphone. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary microphone 12 is placed near a main microphone 4, therefore, collects mainly almost the same peripheral noise as the main microphone 4, and sends a noise having a level exceeding a threshold level which has been determined in advance, to a collecting circuit 14 by an inputting circuit 13. The correcting circuit 14 corrects a voice dial signal which has been sent from an inputting circuit 6, based on this signal. As for the collecting methods, there are (1) an output signal of the inputting circuit 6 corresponding to a peak noise from the inputting circuit 13 is cut by some prescribed value, (2) an output signal of the inputting circuit 6 corresponding to the peak noise from the inputting circuit 13 is erased, and (3) a signal from the inputting circuit 13 is decomposed to a frequency component, and an output signal of the inputting circuit 6 is adjusted in accordance with a level of each frequency component, etc.
