PURPOSE:To facilitate recording paper qualitative control in the mode of continu ous recording by providing a recording paper feed amount detecting roller means and a rotation detector means capable of detecting rotation of said roller means. CONSTITUTION:A drive roller 5 and a driven roller 6 go into and come out of engagement intermittently with each other at the time recording paper is registered throughout a recording devie, a recording paper feed amount detector roller means 13 detecting the feed amount is a recording paper is mounted in a manner that said roller means will rotate along with feed of the recording paper 8, rotation detector means 14 detecging the revolutions of said roller means 13 installed. Said roller means 13 and slit plate 141 mounted commonly to one rotating shaft turn synchronously, wherein rotations of said slit plate 141 are detected by photo sensor 142, and wherein the peripheral length of said roller means is know, whereby how much is the amount of feed rendered for the recording paper can be clarified by obtaining the revolutions of said roller means, thereby effective quantitative control of recording paper 8 is assured. |
