PURPOSE:To obtain a device of high speed, large capacity and high performance by driving row selecting lines in parallel and two lines of column selecting lines selectively at the time of registering operation, and driving row selecting lines selectively and driving column selecting lines in parallel at the time of look-up operation. CONSTITUTION:When 0-th column of J block of a storage unit 110 is designated at the time of registering operation, higher rank data A0 of registered information A are supplied to input 101. Further, a '0' coincidence column selecting signal 132 is supplied, and write data are sent from a generating device 140 to a line 141 and stored in relevant column. Then, data reversed from '0' to '1' are written in the first column from a row designated by data A0, and then, remaining data A1... are written and information A is registered. When data A0 are given to input 101 at the time of look-up operation, a device 130 makes column selecting lines 131 in all blocks pairs and drives them successively. A device 120 drives column selecting lines 121 designated by partial data selectively, and corresponding content of memory is sent to a look-up processing device 150 as read signals 151, 151' of even number columns and odd number columns for each block.
