PURPOSE:To miniaturize the size and to lighten the weight of an injection gun, and to omit a changing action between a preheating burner and the injection gun, by projecting a truncated conical burner tile out of a furnace wall, and by forming primary air holes on the burner tile. CONSTITUTION:A truncated conical burner tile 14 is projected from a furnace wall 13, and primary air holes 15 are formed in the middle of a burner part in the axial direction having proper gaps in the circumferential direction. After preheating is completed by injecting preheating fuel from a nozzle 18, melted sulfur is injected into a furnace, and the primary air is injected into a conical space encircled by a burner tile 14 from the primary air holes 15. Stabilized combustion is taken place in the center of a conical space by the effect of reversing air flow. The secondary air is fed into a combustion chamber 12 from secondary air feed pores 20. In this structure, a widow box 16 can be set on the outer side of a burner tile. The size of an injection gun 17 can be shortened, because it is not necessary for the injection gun 17 to pierce through the window box 16. Besides, an changing action between the nozzle 18 and the gun 17 is not necessary, because the nozzle 18 to inject preheating fuel is set on the primary air hole 15.
