PURPOSE:To drive a pickup arm linearly to move the pickup arm vertically by combining a magnet, plural driving coils and a lifting coil. CONSTITUTION:When current is supplied to the lifting coil 33, a magnet 24 is excited, a blacket 25 is rotated around a blacket shaft 26 and the pickup arm 21 is lifted by a lifting part 25a fitted to the blacket. The lifting speed can be set up optionally by controlling the current. When current is supplied alternately to respective driving coils 35, 36, the magnet 24 is driven in the e-f direction and the pickup arm 21 is also moved in the e-f direction.
