PURPOSE:To attain DC detection and protection without using a relay by flowing a large current to a current amplifier circuit of a low frequency amplifier circuit so as to blow a fuse if one of stereo low frequency amplifier circuits is defective and a DC is generated at the output. CONSTITUTION:When a DC voltage is generated at an output of the low frequency amplifier circuit B or C, a detection signal of a DC detection circuit (a) allows a voltage supply circuit (c) to stop the supply of the power supply voltage to a voltage amplifier circuit (f) or (i). If the DC voltage is generated in this state, a current drive circuit (e) is driven to flow a large current to a current amplifier circuit (g) or (j) thereby blowing a fuse of a power supply circuit D. Loads (h, k) are protected in this way. Thus, the DC detection and protection are attained without using any relay.
