PURPOSE:To reduce the sizes of a transformer and an AC filter by driving a self-excited power inverter by a high frequency, and converting a high frequency AC voltage at the output side of a transformer to a commercial AC voltage. CONSTITUTION:A DC voltage applied from a power converter 1 or a storage battery 7 is switched, for example, by a high frequency of 20kHz by a single- phase self-excited power inverter 3 to convert to a high frequency AC power. The high frequency AC power output from the inverter 3 is converted to a voltage corresponding to the commercial frequency AC output voltage. Further, the output voltages of AC frequency converters 5A-5C of phases are independently controlled to be fed back to convert the 3-phase high frequency AC voltages into 3-phase 50Hz commercial frequency AC sinusoidal wave output voltages and to output it. Thus, since the inverter is operated in high frequency, the sizes of a transformer and an AC filter of components can be reduced. |
