PURPOSE:To enlarge the range of the objective sludge and to plan for an effective dehydration by providing the feeding means of a dehydration promoting drug on one part or both parts of a gravity dehydration part and press dehydration part. CONSTITUTION:A sludge is fed to the sludge feeding part 3 of the starting end side of the rectilinear propagation section 1' of an endless filter cloth blet 1, a gravity dehydration is performed while going on the section 1', the endless filter cloth belt 2 of other part is overlapped on the belt 1 at the end of the section 1' and the sluge is pinched between the both. the slude is then subjected to a press dehydration with zigzagging among plural press rolls 4. The drug to promote the gravity filtration of the sludge is sprayed by the shower pipe 7 to cross the belt 1 on the medium part of said section 1' and the drug to promote the pressing of the sludge is sprayed by providing plural shower pipes 8 on the latter half part of the press dehydration part. And when passing through the last press roll 4n, both belts 1, 2 are regressed around the deflecting roll and the dehydrated cake is peeled off from the belt 2 by the scraper 6. |
